Prof. Ahmad Sobri earned his medical degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia) in 1994 and subsequently completed his Radiology specialization at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2001. In 2003, he advanced his expertise in neurointervention during a fellowship in Paris before returning to Malaysia to gain further interventional experience at Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Currently, he collaborates with neurology and emergency physician teams to develop neurointervention and stroke services at the newly established Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Rajeev bin Shamsuddin Perisamy

Consultant Neurointerventional International Islamic University Malaysia

Dr. Rajeev bin Shamsuddin Perisamy earned his medical degree from Charles University in Prague in 2012 and completed a Master of Medicine in Radiology at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2020. He is an Assistant Professor at IIUM’s Kuantan Campus and practices as a radiologist at the IIUM Medical Specialist Centre. His research focuses on psychosocial stress-induced neuroanatomical brain changes. Dr. Rajeev continues to contribute to the medical field through his clinical expertise, teaching, and research endeavors.

Prof Abdul Hanif Khan bin Yusof Khan

Prof. Abdul Hanif Khan bin Yusof Khan earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2010 and a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2018. Currently pursuing a neurology fellowship at UPM, he specializes in stroke and interventional neurology. He is an Associate Professor at UPM and a neurologist at Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah. With nearly 40 publications and an H-index of 4, his research includes stroke and genetic studies on congenital myotonia. Prof. Abdul Hanif is actively involved in the Malaysia Stroke Council and the Asian Oceanic Association of Neurology.
